What is Foundations of Workplace Coaching?

This Peak Shift class teaches managers how to turn a performance concern into a useful coaching conversation. Participants practice naming the standard, describing observable behavior, asking for the employee's perspective, agreeing on the next action, and checking for follow-through.

Jeremy "Quinn" Martin teaches the DIRECT Feedback Model as one tool for behavior-focused conversations. He did not create that model.

Who should attend?

• Restaurant managers and assistant managers responsible for day-to-day coaching.
• Shift leaders who need to correct performance without losing clarity or respect.
• Owners building a shared coaching language across a small leadership team.

What will managers learn?

• Separate a visible behavior from an assumption about someone's attitude or intent.
• Describe the expected standard and the operational effect of a missed step.
• Practice a direct conversation, agree on a specific next action, and follow up on the next shift.

Class schedule, registration and payment

First class: Monday, October 26, 2026 · 6 PM to approximately 7:15 PM Central via Google Meet · $150 per person.

Classes meet on Mondays. Each session is approximately 75 minutes.

First, use the existing class request form to confirm your class date with Quinn. After Quinn confirms the date and availability, pay for that confirmed class through the Stripe link Quinn sends you. An inquiry or payment alone does not confirm enrollment. Quinn confirms your registration and shares the Google Meet joining details.
